Ingredients list for Turai Moong Dal - SKK

  • 500 grams Ridge gourd (turai) scraped and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal) soaked for 30 minutes and drained
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 1 inches Ginger grated
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 (20 gram Tata Sampann Dal Tadka Masala sachet
  • 2 Medium toamtoes chopped
  • for garnish Fresh coriander sprigs

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ginger and sauté for a few seconds.
  2. Add ridge gourd and sauté well. Add salt, mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add Tata Sampann Dal Tadka Masala, tomatoes and green gram, mix well, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes. Adjust salt, if required.
  4. Garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
