Yes, though other meats being more common, biryani eaters all over the world can easily swear by mutton. And not just biryanis, curries, bakes and all other preparations with this wonderful meat are always special. Ingredients for Yarchi Chops Recipe

  • Mutton Chops 700 grams

  • Green Chillies 1/4 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cup

  • For masala

  • Cloves 3

  • Cinnamon 2 inch stick

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Green chillies roughly chopped 6

  • Garlic roughly chopped 6 cloves

  • Ginger roughly chopped 1 1/2 inch piece

  • Black peppercorns 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves roughly chopped 1/2 cup

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon


Step 1

Grind all the masala ingredients until smooth and marinade the mutton chops with this for an hour in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Heat oil in pressure cooker, add mutton chops and salt and cook for five minutes.

Step 3

Add six cups of water and pressure cook for eight whistles on medium heat or till done

Step 4

Take it off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
