(07/01/2016)Did you know that chef Sanjeev Kapoor can play the drums?
The Indian masterchef recently released two videos, which prove that he isn't just a kitchen rockstar.
Music is like food for the soul, and who deserves a music-break more than chefs who cook up a storm in the kitchen (and on television) every day?
But it's one thing to whip out some earphones, plug them into your laptop or iPod, and listen to some classics, and quite another to pick up a guitar or those drum sticks and make your own music.

Chef Sanjeev Kapoor chooses to do the latter. While it has come as a very pleasant surprise to all his fans, we just can't stop admiring the rhythm and the beat Kapoor nails in the two videos he has recently released.
In the first video, released on Kapoor's YouTube channel Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana on June 20, his little band of three presented a beautiful rendition of the RD Burman-Kishore Kumarclassic, Hume Tumse Pyar Kitna from the movie Kudrat (1981).
The second one, posted earlier today on Sanjeev Kapoor's Facebook page, is performed by the same group of three. And this time, they chose another classic RD Burman-Kishore Kumar favourite, Rimjhim Gire Sawan from the 1979 movie, Manzil. Clearly, RD Burman and Kishore Kumar are Sanjeev Kapoor's favourites.

Apparently, Kapoor and his team often leave their kitchen and studio behind to indulge in a musical break to relax their minds.
