By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Dec 2015 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Advertisment Main Ingredients Potatoes, Semolina Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Batata Kaapa 3-4 large Potatoes peeled Semolina to taste Salt 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon Sambhar powder 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1/2 cup Semolina (suji/rawa) 1/2 cup Rice flour for shallow frying Oil Advertisment Method Cut potatoes into half centimeter thick round slices and place them in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sambhar powder and lemon juice, mix well and set aside. Mix semolina and rice flour and spread on a plate. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Roll potato slices in semolina-rice flour mixture and place them on the pan. Shallow-fry, turning sides, till potatoes are cooked and evenly done from both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot.
