By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Burger buns, Large onions Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Bhaji Burger 4 Burger buns 4 Large onions sliced to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 10 tablespoons Gram flour 1/2 bunch Spinach leaves shredded to shallow-fry Oil as required Mint mayonnaise as required Romaine lettuce leaves as required Tomato slices to serve Potato salli Method Take onions in a bowl, add salt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, carom seeds and gram flour and mix well. Add spinach leaves, and mix well. Heat sufficient oil in non-stick pan. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a cutlet. Place each cutlet in the pan and shallow-fry, turning sides, till golden and crisp on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Halve each burger bun horizontally, apply mint mayonnaise on both sides, place a few lettuce leaves on the base half of each bun. Place one bhaji on the leaves, top it with tomato slices and cover with the top halves of the buns to make a burger.
