By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Jan 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Banana flower Cuisine Other cuisines Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chicken with Banana Flower - SK Khazana 200 grams Boneless chicken cut into cubes 1 1/2 cups Banana flower chopped and soaked in water with salt and turmeric 2 tablespoons Mustard oil 1 Medium onion chopped 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste 2 Bay leaves 2 Dried red chillies 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder to garnish Fresh coriander sprigs to garnish Steamed riceq Method Drain the banana flower, squeeze excess water and put into a bowl. Heat mustard oil in a deep non-stick pan, add onion, ginger-garlic paste, bay leaves and broken red chillies. Mix and sauté till the mixture is browned and fragrant. Add turmeric powder and chicken, mix well and sauté for a minute. Add cumin powder and salt, mix well and sauté on low heat for 10 minutes or till chicken gets cooked. Add banana flower and mix well, cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat. Add black pepper and add little water and mix well. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat. Switch off heat.
