Ingredients list for Chocolate MIM

  • 175 grams Dark chocolate , grated
  • 25 grams Cocoa powder
  • 75 grams Butter
  • 75 grams Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 200 millilitres Fresh cream
  • a few Fresh strawberries

Method

  1. Heat butter in a deep pan, add dark chocolate and cook, stirring on low heat, till both melt and become smooth.
  2. Add cocoa powder and mix well. Add sugar and mix till all the sugar dissolves.
  3. Switch off heat. Break eggs, one by one, into an egg separator kept over a bowl, put the yolks into a large bowl and whisk well.
  4. Add the chocolate mixture and whisk again till well mixed. Add cream and whisk vigorously till well blended.
  5. Line a small silicon mould with cling wrap. Pour the chocolate mixture into it. Cover with cling wrap and place the lid over it. Keep the mould in the refrigerator to set for 1½ to 2 hours.
  6. When well set, remove from the refrigerator, cut into cubes or slices, arrange them on a serving platter, sprinkle a little cocoa powder over them and serve with a few fresh strawberries.
