By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Dec 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sesame seeds (til), Coconut Cuisine Kerala Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Coconut Aur Til Ki Chutney 4 tablespoons Sesame seeds (til) 3 tablespoons Coconut grated 1 tablespoon Oil 1 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 Green chillies slit a pinch Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Sugar to taste Salt Method Heat a small non stick pan, dry roast sesame seeds and grated coconut. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Grind the mixture to a coarse powder.Heat oil in a non stick pan, once hot add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Allow it to splutter. Add green chillies, asafoetida, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Mix well. Add lemon juice, sugar ans salt and saute for one minute. Add the sesame seed and coconut powder to the pan and mix well.
