Ingredients list for Cream of Spinach Soup-SK Khazana

  • 1 large bunch Spinach
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste White pepper powder
  • 1 tablespo for drizzling Fresh cream

Method

  1. Blanch spinach leaves in boiling water for 1 minute. Refresh in ice cold water, drain well, squeeze excess water and blend. Add a little water and blend again to a smooth puree.
  2. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and flour, mix and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add spinach puree and mix well. Add sufficient water and mix well. Add milk and mix well.
  4. Add salt and pepper powder, stir to mix and bring to a boil. Add cream and mix.
  5. Drizzle some cream and serve hot.
