Ingredients list for Creamy Garlic Butter Prawns

  • 12-16 Medium prawns peeled and deveined with tails intact
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 12-16 Fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 Large white onion finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 3 Sun dried tomatoes cut into strips
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried Italian herbs
  • 3/4 cup White wine
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Cornflour
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 teaspoon for garnish Fresh parsley chopped
  • to serve Spaghetti boiled

Method

  1. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté till fragrant. Add spinach leaves, mix and cook till the leaves wilt.
  2. Add onion, mix and sauté till translucent. Add prawns, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add milk, tomatoes and Italian herbs, mix well and simmer for 1-2 minutes or till the sauce thickens.
  4. Add white wine, cornflour and cheese, mix well and cook till the prawns are fully done. Add parsley and mix well.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with spaghetti.
