By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update " frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> Main Ingredients Yogurt, Potatoes Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Dahi Masala Aloo 1/4 cup Yogurt 4 medium Potatoes peeled and cut into cubes 2 tablespoons Ghee 1 1/4 tablespoons Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon Ginger paste 1 tablespoon Garlic paste 4 teaspoons Coriander powder 2 1/2 teaspoons Cumin powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped for garnishing Ginger juliennes Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for a while. Combine ginger paste and garlic paste in a bowl. Add a little water and mix well to dilute the pastes. Add this to the pan, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for a while. Add potatoes, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add 1 cup water, salt, stir to mix and bring it to a boil. Lower heat, cover and cook till the potatoes are soft. Add yogurt, garam masala powder and chopped coriander. Mix well and bring to a boil. Garnish with ginger juliennes and serve hot.
