Ingredients list for Fresh Tuvar Green Masala

  • 200 grams Fresh tuvar pods , shelled
  • 1/2 cup Fresh coriander-coconut-ginger-green chilli paste
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 medium Onion , chopped
  • 1 medium Potato
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to garnish Fresh coriander sprig

Method

  1. Heat oil in an earthen pot, add onion and sauté till golden brown.
  2. Meanwhile slice potato and soak in a bowl of water.
  3. Add turmeric powder to the onion mixture and mix well. Add fresh coriander-coconut-ginger-green chilli paste, mix and sauté well.
  4. Drain and add potato and fresh tuvar and mix well. Add salt and mix well.
  5. Add 1 cup water, mix well, cover and cook till both potato and tuvar are cooked completely.
  6. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot.
