Ingredients for Green Moong Waffles Recipe

  • Green Gram 1 cup

  • Rice 1/2 cup

  • Green chillies 2

  • Cumin seeds (jeera) 1 teaspoon

  • Onion 1 teaspoon

  • Ginger 1 inch long

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Marinate green gram and rice for six hours.

Step 2

Grind soaked green gram and rice with green chilies, cumin seeds, onion, ginger and salt by adding water little by little till it gets a thin consistency for the dosa batter.

Step 3

Take a waffle iron and heat it.

Step 4

Pour a small cup of dosa batter in the middle a waffle iron and spread lightly.

Step 5

Serve hot with coconut chutney.
