Ingredients list for Grilled Goat Cheese Salad

  • 160 grams Feta cheese
  • 1 bunch Romaine lettuce
  • 1 bunch Lollorosso lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard paste coarsely ground
  • to taste Salt
  • 4-5 Black peppercorns , coarsely ground
  • 1 medium Red capsicum , deseeded and cut into 1/2 inch cube
  • 1 medium Yellow capsicum , deseeded and cut into 1/2 inch cube
  • 1 medium Green capsicum , deseeded and cut into 1/2 inch cube
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds (til) , toasted
  • 2 teaspoons Pine nuts(chilgoza) , toasted

Method

  1. Cut goat cheese into half inch cubes and grill them lightly. Tear the lettuce leaves roughly. Blend olive oil, white wine vinegar, garlic, grain mustard, salt and black pepper until homogenous. In a glass bowl toss the cheese, lettuce and tricoloured capsicums. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and pinenuts. Pour over the dressing and serve immediately.
