By Sanjeev Kapoor 13 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gum resin, Jaggery Cuisine Gujarati Course Mithais Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Gundar No Sandho 250 grams Gum resin 1 1/3 cups Jaggery 2 1/2 cups Jaggery (gur),grated 1/2 teaspoon Dry ginger powder (soonth) 2 teaspoons Tea masala 1/2 teaspoon Piperi mool (ganthoda powder) 1 cup Dry coconut (khopra),grated Method Heat ghee in kadai, fry gum raisin till it resembles small balls. Drain and crush. Add grated jaggery to the remaining ghee and cook till the jaggery melts. Add dry ginger, tea masala, piperi mool and coconut to the crushed gum. Add this mixture to the melted jaggery and mix well. Pout into a greased parat and smoothen the top. Keep aside to set. When cool, cut into squares or diamonds and store. Subscribe to our Newsletter!
