Ingredients list for Iced Chocolate Biscuits

  • 10-12 Sweet Biscuits
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
  • 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons Chocolate grated

Method

  1. Place milk, cocoa powder, cornflour, castor or powdered sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl and whisk well ensuring that there are no lumps.
  2. Place the mixture in a saucepan and cook, stirring continuously till the sauce thickens.
  3. Set aside to cool.
  4. Place the biscuits in a plate and pour the chocolate mixture over each biscuit.
  5. Refrigerate them for two to three hours.
  6. Sprinkle some grated chocolate over the biscuits just before serving.
