By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Jan 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dosa batter, Raw banana Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Jain Mysore Masala Dosa 2 cups Dosa batter 1 cup Raw banana chopped Oil 1 tablespoon + as required 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 6-8 Curry leaves 1 Green chilli finely chopped 1/2 cup Green capsicum finely chopped 1 cup Tomatoes chopped to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Sugar 2 tablespoons Coconut chutney 2 tablespoons Red chilli sauce Method Advertisment Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves, green chilli and capsicum and sauté. Add raw banana and tomatoes. Mix well, cover and cook for 5-8 minutes. Add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Add sugar, coconut chutney and red chilli sauce and mix well. Mash the mixture with a masher, mix well sauté for a minute. Transfer into a bowl and set aside. To make dosa, heat a non-stick tawa and pour a ladleful of the dosa batter on it and spread into a thin dosa. Drizzle some oil on the sides and cook till dosa is half done. Spread a portion of the vegetable masala in the center and fold the sides into a triangle. Similarly make more dosas. Transfer into a serving plate and serve hot with chutney.
