By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium potatoes, Oil Cuisine Bengali Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Jhuri Aloo Bhaja 8 Medium potatoes peeled to deep fry Oil 1/2 cup Raw peanuts 2-3 sprigs Curry leaves to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala Method Take a bowl of water, grate potatoes into the bowl and wash them well. Squeeze the grated potatoes and spread on a kitchen towel to dry. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, add the grated potatoes and deep- fry on low heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Add peanuts to the same hot oil and deep-fry till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Deep fry the curry leaves in the same oil and drain on absorbent paper. Put the fried potatoes, peanuts and curry leaves in a bowl, add salt, crushed black peppercorns and chaat masala and mix well.
