Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Add red chilli powder and chana masala and mix well. Add horse gram stock and mix well. Add horse gram and mix. Add salt, mix well and bring the mixture to a boil. Mash a little with a hand blender, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot garnished with ginger strips.
