Ingredients list for Lauki Lajawaab

  • 600 grams Bottle gourd
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt

  1. Peel white pumpkin, cut lengthwise, remove seeds and cut into one centimeter small pieces. Heat oil, add onions and sauté until soft.
  2. Add ginger, garlic paste, stir and add tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt. Cook for some time. Add white pumpkin, mix well.
  3. Add approximately three cups of water and cook until white pumpkin is cooked and masala is thick. Serve hot.
