By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Apr 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Maize Flour, Wheat Flour Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Makai Pizza 1/2 cup Maize Flour for dusting Wheat Flour 1 cup + to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 tablespoon Oil 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon Oregano 3 tablespoons Eggless mayonnaise 1 tablespoon Sliced olives 1 small Red capsicum finely chopped 4 tablespoons Sweet corn kernels boiled 4 tablespoons Cottage cheese (paneer) grated Tomato ketchup for serving Method Advertisment Mix maize flour, wheat flour, salt, black pepper powder and carom seeds in a bowl. Add sufficient water and knead into soft dough. Add oil and knead again. Divide pizza dough into four equal portions. Dust a worktop with wheat flour and place a portion on it, flatten a little and roll out into a bhakri. Heat non-stick tawa, place a bhakri on it and cook, flipping, till both sides are crisp and evenly done. Remove from the tawa and cool down to room temperature. Cook the remaining bhakri similarly. Add half teaspoon red chilli flakes, half teaspoon oregano and black pepper powder in the mayonnaise and mix well. Spread a portion of mayonnaise mixture on each pizza base, place some olives, red capsicum, sweet corn, cottage cheese and the remaining red chilli flakes and oregano. Heat the non-stick tawa, place the pizza on it, cover and cook for five to ten minutes. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
