By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Paneer (cottage cheese), Fresh cream Cuisine Punjabi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Malai Paneer 500 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into cubes Fried 1/2 cup Fresh cream 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds a pinch Asafoetida 6 large Tomato pureed 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg powder 2 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Garam masala to taste Salt Method Heat oil in a non stick pan, add cumin seeds and asafetida. Saute for thirty seconds. Add tomato puree and mix well. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, nutmeg powder and mix well. Lower the heat and cook till the oil surfaces. Add cardamom powder, sugar and salt to taste. Mix well. Add cottage cheese pieces and fresh cream. All the mixture to boil.
