By Sanjeev Kapoor 28 Sep 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Green peas Cuisine Punjabi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Matar Paneer-SK Khazana 250 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) cut into 3/4 inch cubes 3/4 cup Green peas boiled 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/2 cup Onion puree 1 teaspoon Ginger paste 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt 1/2 cup Fresh tomato puree 1/2 cup Readymade tomato puree 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté till it changes colour. Add onion puree, mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add ginger paste and mix. Add little water, mix and saute till the mixture turns golden. . Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, fresh tomato puree and readymade tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add little water and mix. Add green peas, mix, cover and cook for 2 minutes. Add cottage cheese cubes and mix. Add garam masala powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Switch off heat, add coriander leaves and mix well.
