Mexican Chicken Fajita

Ingredients list for Mexican Chicken Fajita

  • 4 Tortillas
  • 2 Chicken cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 medium Onions halved and sliced horizontally
  • 2 medium Green capsicums sliced
  • 2 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 Dried red chillies crushed
  • 4-6 Black peppercorns crushed
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cheese grated
  • 2 Jalapeno sliced

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add garlic and capsicum and stir. Add chicken and stir-fry for two minutes.
  3. Add soy sauce, crushed red chillies, crushed peppercorns and stir. Add salt, brown sugar and a little water and cook till the chicken is done.
  4. Heat a sizzler plate and put the chicken on it.
  5. Take a tortilla, place a little chicken mixture in the centre, sprinkle grated cheese and jalapeno pepper slices.
  6. Roll and serve immediately.
