Olive Upma A Quick and easy to prepare snack with the taste of olive. This recipe has featured on the show Khanakhazana. By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Black olives, Semolina Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Olive Upma 10-12 Black olives sliced 1 cup Semolina 3 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 5-6 Curry leaves 1 large Onion chopped 3-4 Green chillies chopped to taste Salt Method Heat extra virgin olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When the seeds splutter, add onion and sauté till lightly coloured. Add semolina and stir. Add green chillies and stir. Add two and a half cups of water, salt to taste and mix. Add the olives and mix. Reduce heat, cover and cook till all the water is absorbed. While serving you can pack the upma in small moulds and unmould them in serving plates.
