Palakwali Dal A tasty and spicy combination of spinach and moong dal. Healthy yellow lentils prepared with fresh spinach leaves and spices makes a delicious combination of protein rich assorted lentils (dals), fiber rich spinach (palak) and magical ghee tempered spices. Heat oil in a kadai. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds. When cumin seeds start to change colour, add onions and green chillies. Sauté till onions are soft and translucent. Add ginger and garlic and saute for half a minute. Add dal and bring to a boil and add spinach and lemon juice. Simmer for two minutes. Serve hot.
