By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Dec 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Steamed white rice (leftover), Oil Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Rice Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Phodnicha Bhaat 2 cups Steamed white rice (leftover) 1 tablespoon Oil 4-5 cloves Garlic crushed 1 large Onion chopped 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1/4 cup Coconut scraped 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat oil in a kadai, add garlic and onions and sauté till onion becomes soft and pink. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and leftover rice. Cook for about three to four minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly. Add coconut and mix lightly.
