Ingredients for Pin Wheel Biscuits Recipe

  • Refined Flour 2 1/2 cups

  • Powdered Sugar 1 teaspoon

  • Salt 1/8 teaspoon

  • Butter 1/2 tablespoon

  • Powdered sugar 1 cup

  • Milk 3 tablespoon

  • Cocoa powder 3 tablespoon

  • Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180°C

Step 2

Sieve flour,baking powder and salt together.

Step 3

In a large bowl beat together butter and powdered sugar till light and fluffy. Add flour and milk and make a soft dough.

Step 4

Divide the mixture into 2 equal parts. Add cocoa powder and vanilla essence to one part and mix well.

Step 5

Roll the white dough to half inch thickness. Roll the chocolate dough also to one inch thickness and place it on the white dough.

Step 6

Refrigerate the dough for twenty to thirty minutes. Remove and cut into small pieces and place it in greased baking tray.

Step 7

Bake it in preheated oven for ten to fifteen minutes.

Step 8

Remove and serve.
