By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Aug 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pineapple, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Pineapple Fritters 1 medium Pineapple peeled, cored and sliced ½ cup Refined flour (maida) 1½ teaspoons Baking soda 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar ½ teaspoon Salt ¼ cup Milk 1 Egg yolk beaten ½ teaspoon Vanilla essence to shallow fry Butter for dusting Powdered sugar Method Put flour, baking soda, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix well. Put milk, egg yolk and vanilla essence in another bowl and mix well. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and whisk well to make a thick smooth batter. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Dip pineapple slices in the batter and place them on the pan and shallow-fry, turning sides, till evenly golden on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
