Ingredients list for Ragi Jaggery Cookies

  • 3/4 cup Ragi flour
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery powder
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2-3 tablespoons Milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons Chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together ragi flour, cocoa powder and baking soda in a bowl.
  3. Cream together butter and jaggery powder in another bowl till soft and creamy. Add the flour mixture and fold in. Add milk and mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into small equal portions, shape them into balls and flatten them a little. Arrange them on the tray keeping them 1 inch apart. Place the chocolate chips on top.
  5. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  6. Arrange the cookies on a serving plate and serve.
