By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Aug 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Red liquid food colour, Chocolate hazelnut spread Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Red Velvet Chocolate Cookies-SK Khazana 1 tablespoon Red liquid food colour 1/2 cup Chocolate hazelnut spread 2 cups Refined flour (maida) 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar 1 cup Melted butter 2 tablespoons Sour cream 1 Egg 1 Egg yolk 1/2 cup Chocolate chips Method Fill a piping bag with chocolate-hazelnut spread and pipe out small portions on a butter paper. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt and brown sugar in a bowl. Add butter and red food colour and beat well with a hand blender. Add sour cream, egg and egg yolk and fold in well into a cookie dough. Add chocolate chips and mix well. Transfer the prepared dough in a zip lock bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 180˚C. Divide the dough into equal portions, stuff each with the chilled chocolate portions, shape into balls and place on a baking tray. Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool.
