When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Prep Time : 3.30-4 hour

Cook time : 11-15 minutes

Ingredients for Sesame And Thyme Coated Crunchy Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 2

  • Sesame Seeds roasted 3 tablespoons

  • Fresh thyme 1/2 cup

  • Extra virgin olive oil 3 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Satay sticks soaked 4

  • Lemon juice for serving


Step 1

Grind together sesame seeds, thyme and salt into a coarse mixture. Heat oil in a non stick pan and sauté this mixture for two minutes.

Step 2

Take chicken pieces in a bowl and add the sautéed powder. Mix well to coat the pieces. Refrigerate for two hours. Heat the Grill Pan. Thread the chicken pieces onto wooden skewers and grill till chicken is done and crispy.

Step 3

Drizzle with lemon juice and serve hot.
