Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Patties With Coconut Recipe

  • Chicken Mince 350 grams

  • Scraped Coconut 1/2 cup

  • Dried red chillies 3

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic 5 cloves

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1 tablespoon

  • Curry leaves chopped 8-10

  • Egg beaten 1

  • Refined flour (maida) 2 tablespoons

  • Oil for shallow frying

Method

Step 1

Grind together coconut, red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds and garlic to a coarse paste. Transfer the coconut paste into a bowl and add the chicken mince, crushed peppercorns, curry leaves to it. Add the egg, refined flour and mix well.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry patties till evenly done from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot with green chutney.
