Yogurt and Camembert Dip

This wonderfully flavoured yogurt and camembert cheese dip can be enjoyed with any snack. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients list for Yogurt and Camembert Dip

  • 100 grams Yogurt whisked
  • ½ cup Cream cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Caraway seeds (shahi jeera)
  • 2 teaspoons Oil
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • ¼ cloves Chives
  • 50 grams Camembert cheese peeled and cut in cubes
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns

Method

  1. Dry roast caraway seeds till fragrant. Remove from heat and crush.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onion and sauté till golden. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Whisk together cream cheese and Camembert cheese in a bowl till smooth.
  4. Add the sautéed onions, roasted caraway seeds, chives, paprika, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Serve with crusty bread.
