By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Feb 2017 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Chicken on the bone, Buttermilk Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 4-5 hour Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Buttermilk Herbed Chicken 750 grams Chicken on the bone cut into 2 inch pieces 1 cup Buttermilk 1 teaspoon Thyme finely chopped 1 teaspoon Oregano chopped 1 tablespoon Olive oil 4-5 Shallots finely chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste Salt to deep fry Oil 2 Eggs beaten for coating Bread crumbs dried to serve Tomato ketchup Method Mix together olive oil, shallots, garlic, thyme, oregano, crushed peppercorns, salt and buttermilk in a bowl. Add chicken pieces, mix well, cover with cling film and refrigerate to marinate for 4-5 hours. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Coat each chicken piece with flour, dip in egg and coat with breadcrumbs. Deep-fry the prepared chicken pieces in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
