By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Mar 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Puffed Rice, Coconut Oil Cuisine Bengali Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 0-5 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Charmuri 8 cups Puffed Rice 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil 2 Green chillies chopped 8-10 Curry leaves 2 medium Onions chopped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder a pinch Turmeric powder 1/4 cup roasted chana 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Heat coconut oil in a non-stick pan, add green chillies and curry leaves and sauté for half a minute and then add to puffed rice kept in a bowl. Add onions, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted chana, peanuts, one tablespoon coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle remaining coriander leaves and serve immediately.
