By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Oct 2018 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Fresh coconut, Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 1.30-2 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Coconut Barfi-SK Khazana 2 cups Fresh coconut scraped for greasing Ghee 1 cup Sugar 1/2 cup Fresh cream a pinch Green cardamom powder 2-3 tablespoons Pistachios chopped 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar for garnish Silver varq to sprinkle Pistachio powder Method Grease a barfi tray with some ghee. Heat a non-stick pan. Add coconut, sugar, cream and cardamom powder, mix and sauté till the mixture turns golden brown. Add chopped pistachios and mix well. Switch off heat, add powdered sugar and mix well. Spread the mixture in the greased tray, garnish with silver varq, sprinkle some pistachio powder on top and set aside to cool.
