Fried Egg on Quinoa Quinoa cooked with crabsticks and served topped with fried egg. This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Jan 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Egg, Quinoa Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Egg Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Fried Egg on Quinoa 1 Egg 1 cup Quinoa Oil 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon oil to taste Salt 2 Onions 1 Lemon leaf 2 teaspoons Ffrozen crabsticks Juice of ½ lemon 10-12 Fresh coriander leaves 1 Roasted crushed peanuts 1 tablespoon Method Heat sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add quinoa and cook till soft. Heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick pan, break egg in it, sprinkle salt and crushed peppercorns on top and fry sunny-side up. Remove from heat and set aside. Heat 1 tbsp oil in another non-stick pan. Slice onions and add to the pan. Tear lemon leaf, add and sauté for 1 minute. Cut crabsticks into small pieces and add to the pan along with fish sauce. Diagonally slice red chillies and add, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Strain the cooked quinoa and add to the pan along with salt and brown sugar. Mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add lemon juice, coriander leaves and peanuts and mix. Transfer this mixture onto a serving plate. Place the sunny-side up egg on top and serve immediately.
