    4-5 large
  • Raisins
    1/2 cup
  • Walnut kernels crushed
    6-8
  • Lemon juice
    2 tablespoons
  • Black salt (kala namak)
    1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt

  • Green chilli chopped

  • Black peppercorns crushed
    1/4 teaspoon
  • Honey
    1 tablespoon
  • Fresh mint leaves

Method

Step 1


Thickly grate carrots. Wash raisins, drain and squeeze out the excess water and add to the grated carrots. Add walnuts and mix.

Step 2


Combine lemon juice, black salt, salt, green chilli, crushed peppercorns, honey. Add a few mint leaves broken with hand. Just before serving add the dressing to the grated carrots and toss.

Step 3


Serve garnished with the remaining mint leaves.
