By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Dec 2020 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Fish, Fresh coriander leaves Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Green Masala Fish Fry 1 medium Fish Surmai, cut into darnes for garnishing Fresh coriander leaves ½ medium bunch + 2-3 Green chillies 6-8 Garlic cloves to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Lemon juice ½ cup Semolina (rawa/suji) 1 tablespoon Rice flour for shallow frying Oil ½ for garnishing Lemon Method Grind together coriander leaves, green chillies, garlic cloves, salt and lemon juice with some water to a smooth paste. Take fish darnes in a bowl. Add salt and mix. Add ground paste and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes. Spread semolina on a plate. Add rice flour and mix well. Coat each marinated fish darn with semolina mixture. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Shallow-fry the fish, turning sides, till evenly cooked, golden and crisp on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper.
