Ingredients list for Paneer and Apple Pudding

  • 250 grams Cottage CHeese
  • 1 medium Green Apples
  • 1 tbsp + f butter
  • 4 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 cup Condensed milk
  • 1 cup Fresh cream
  • ¼ cup Orange juice

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Slice cottage cheese thinly. Quarter apple, remove seeds and slice thinly.
  3. Spread half the cottage cheese slices on the baking dish. Sprinkle 2 tsps sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, ½ tsp cardamom powder and ¼ tsp pepper powder. Top with a layer of apple slices.
  4. Sprinkle remaining sugar, remaining cinnamon powder, remaining pepper powder and remaining cardamom powder. Top with a layer of remaining cottage cheese slices.
  5. Put condensed milk, fresh cream and orange juice in a bowl and whisk well.
  6. Pour condensed milk mixture on the cottage cheese layer in the dish. Add 1 tbsp butter on top. Put the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve warm or chilled.
