This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Jul 2017 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Turnips (shalgam), Cauliflower Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Shalgam Adraki Gobhi 4 medium Turnips (shalgam) peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes 250 grams Cauliflower separated into small florets 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 4 Green chillies 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 1/2 tablespoons Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder to taste Salt 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped 1 inch piece Ginger cut into thin strips Method Heat oil in a non stick kadai, add cumin seeds, ajwain and sauté till fragrant. Slit green chillies and add along with ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Add shalgam and cauliflower, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, amchur, salt and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes and ginger and mix. Add 1 cup water, cover and cook for 12-15 minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
