By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Gram flour (besan) , Sugar Cuisine Indian Course Desserts Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Besan Ka Halwa 2 cups Gram flour (besan) 1 cup Sugar 1/2 cup Ghee 2 cups Milk 2 tablespoons Raisins wash and pat dry 10-12 Cashewnuts chopped 12-15 Almonds slivered Method Take a non-stick pan and roast gram flour on low heat, stirring continuously, for ten to twelve minutes. Add sugar and continue to roast, stirring continuously, for ten more minutes. Add ghee and mix well. Continue to cook for five minutes. Add milk, mix well and cook till you get a halwa consistency. Add raisins, cashewnuts and three fourths of the almond slivers. Mix well and serve hot garnished with the remaining almond slivers.
