By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Pressed Rice, Coconut Cuisine Karnataka Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Gopalkala 250 grams Pressed Rice 1/2 cup Coconut scraped 1 medium Cucumber finely chopped 1/2 cup Yogurt 1/2 teaspoon Sugar to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ghee 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 Green chillies finely chopped 1/2 inch piece Ginger finely chopped Method Wash the poha under running water. Keep in a colander so that the excess water drains away. Mix the poha with scraped coconut, finely chopped cucumber, yogurt, sugar and salt. Melt ghee in a small pan, add cumin seeds, green chillies and ginger and stir-fry for a minute. Pour the tempering over the poha and mix well. Serve.
