Ingredients list for Khuskhus Halwa
- 1 cup Poppy Seeds soaked overnight
 - Ghee
 - 4 tablespoons Ghee
 - 2 cups Milk
 - 1/4 cup Cashewnuts
 - 1/4 cup Almonds
 - 1/4 cup Pistachios
 - 3 tablespoons Diet sugar
 - a few Almonds fried
 - a few Cashewnuts fried
 
Method
- Drain the poppy seeds and grind with very little water to a thick paste. Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add poppy seed paste and saute for about 12-15 minutes or till it turns a light brown.
 - Reduce heat and add milk and cook, stirring continuously, till it begins to thicken. Add chopped nuts and mix well. Add diet sugar and mix well.
 - Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with fried almonds and cashewnuts and serve hot.
