  • White sesame seeds
    4 tablespoons
  • Refined flour (maida), sifted
    1 1/2 cup
  • Butter
    1/2 cup
  • Sugar
    3 tablespo
  • Vanilla essence
    1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg yolks


Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180° C. Dry roast sesame seeds for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2

Transfer half the sesame seeds into a mixer jar, cool completely and grind into a coarse powder.

Step 3

Whisk together butter and sugar in a bowl. Add vanilla essence and egg yolks and whisk into a smooth batter.

Step 4

Add the ground sesame seeds powder and maida and knead into dough.Refrigerate the dough for 15-20 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the dough from the refrigerator, divide into small portions and shape into small biscuits.

Step 6

Coat the biscuits with the remaining sesame seeds.

Step 7

Place a silicon mat on a baking dish and arrange the biscuits on it.

Step 8

Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.

Step 9

Transfer into a serving plate and serve.
