By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 May 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Dry Green Gram, Onions Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 8-10 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Green Chana Chaat 1 1/2 cups Dry Green Gram soaked overnight Onions 2 Onions chopped 2 medium Tomatoes chopped 2-3 medium Green chillies chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped to taste Black salt (kala namak) 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Method Pressure cook soaked green chana in three cups of water till two to three whistles or till done. Transfer them into a kadai and simmer till all the water evaporates. Take the hot chana in a bowl. Add onions, tomatoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, black salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder and lemon juice and mix well. Serve immediately.
