By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Dec 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Pakora 250 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) , cut into 1 inch cubes to deep fry Oil 1 cup Gram flour (besan) 2 tablespoons Yogurt 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves , chopped 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt to sprinkle Chaat masala to serve Onion rings to serve Lemon slices to garnish Fresh mint sprigs to serve Green chutney Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Take gram flour in a mixing bowl, add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, carom seeds, red chilli powder, salt and sufficient water and whisk to make a semi-thick and smooth batter. Put cottage cheese cubes to the batter and mix well. Slide the cottage cheese cubes into hot oil, one at a time, and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle some chaat masala on top.
