By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Apr 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Boneless Mutton, Coconut oil Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Mutton Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 51-60 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Mutton Curry 800 grams Boneless Mutton 3 tablespoons Coconut oil 2 Bay leaves 3-4 Green cardamoms 1 Black cardamom 1 inch piece Cinnamon 3-4 Cloves 3-4 Black peppercorns 3 large Onions chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic paste 1 tablespoon Ginger paste 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder 2 large Tomatoes chopped to taste Salt Method Clean, wash and cut mutton into half inch pieces on the bone. Heat oil, add bay leaves, green cardamoms, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns and onions. Sauté till onions turn golden. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and sauté for two tot here minutes. Add mutton pieces, cook for some time and then add two cups of water. When the mixture comes to a boil, cover, reduce heat and cook till mutton is almost done. Add tomatoes and salt and continue cooking till mutton is soft.
