Menu: Pear & Walnut Salad

             Pear stuffed Roast Chicken

             Apple & Pear Crostata

 

Shopping list

4 green pears

100 grams walnut kernels

1 cucumber

100 grams of cherry tomatoes

1 lollo rosso lettuce

1 small Iceberg lettuce

50 grams of rocket leaves

1 bottle of green olives pitted

1 small bottle of mustard paste

1 bottle of malt vinegar

1 small bottle of extra virgin olive oil

1 red pear

1 whole chicken with skin

200 grams of chicken mince

1 small bottle of dried herbs mixed

100 grams of almonds

1 small bottle of Worcestershire sauce

250 grams carrots

1 apple

250 grams of short crust dough

100 grams of castor sugar

6 eggs

1 small bottle of vanilla essence

500 grams refined flour

100 grams of brown sugar

100 grams of almonds

100 grams of icing sugar

1 small bottle of edible glaze

 

For faster preparation

Toast the walnuts and set aside. Process the vegetables and refresh the lettuce. Prepare the dressing and set aside. Cut the pears for roast chicken. Make the stuffing and marinade for roast chicken. Apply the marinade between the skin and flesh of the chicken. Seal the head of the marinated chicken with toothpick fill in the stuffing and seal it again at the tail part of the chicken. Process the potatoes and carrots for chicken. Chop apple and pear for the crostata. Dry roast cinnamon stick and powder it for the crostata

 

How to go about it

Roll the short crust and cut into the desired shape. Add the stuffing to the dough and bake. Then start withbaking the chicken in the preheated oven along with potatoes and carrots. Assemble the salad. Serve.
